Dear John,  


We heard the other day of your mom's passing and we extend our sympathy to you and your family. 

In 1955 I visited Creeslough while I was stationed in Germany and stayed with Brian and Betty McGinley and met their kids. It was through John and Jimmy that I heard about Rose. 

I only met Rose once and that was in 1994 when we visited London and  saw many of the McGinley family. 

Your grandmother, Sarah Gallagher, hired a car and driver and took me around Donegal and I met my father's brother who lived in the Glen near Termon so I had an idea of his home and his youth.  Both my parents migrated to the US and met in Philadelphia at the annual Donegal Ball in the 1920s.

Your Mom sent us a Christmas card every year and that was a blessing to hear from a cousin.
